Don't Be That Guy...
Our Weekly 2 Minute Read
Edition 39 - March 31, 2019
We all know that one person from high school or college. You know - the person we all thought was super popular because he/she was involved in literally every club on campus.
But what we didn't realize? They never actually did anything. They appeared to be "popular" because they had so many clubs they could list on their resume, but ask them their favorite memories and they have only have surface-level answers.
I've been apart of executive boards for campus organizations. You find out which members fit the category of being "involved" in the organization and which members fit the category of being "committed" to the organization.
Those "involved" members were always invited to events, but you could never rely on them to actually go to anything. Everyone was always excited when they show up, only for that person to go another 3-4 weeks before they show up to something else.
We all only have 168 hours in a week. Don't be that guy or girl that spends all your time doing superficial activities. Dive deeper. Get committed to your activities, even if that means eliminating some of the other ones.
Don't just do things because you have to. Do things because you want to.
