The Hardest Workers Out There

Our Weekly 2 Minute Read

Edition 45 - May 12, 2019

In case you didn't know, today is Mother's Day. If there is one thing in the world that all people have in common - we all have a mother.

I have yet to have the experience of being a parent, but every time I have met a new father or mother, he/she tells me that it's a life-changing experience.

They say the sweetest sound in the world is your first name. Why? Because it's among one of the most used words you hear as a baby from your mother. A mother is the first person to care for you in an unforgiving world. They are the ones who nurture you. They support you. They make sacrifices.

Some of the best businesses in the world are run by mothers. Mothers are used to having busy schedules and used to managing other people's lives. They have the innate ability to multitask. More importantly, they refuse to fail.

I was fortunate enough to grow up in a world where my mother's full-time "job" was to watch over us. In hindsight, there's so much in business that I learned from her. The biggest lesson? Stay relentless. For that, I am forever grateful.

So make sure you take time today to call your mother and wish her a Happy Mother's Day. She's the first person to ever support you and she'll always be your #1 fan.
