Tough week to be a Lakers fan.
After a convincing victory in Game 3 moving up two games to one, the Los Angeles Lakers loses three games in a row to the Phoenix Suns.
This makes it the first time Lebron has been eliminated from the playoffs in the first round.
After the game, Lebron was interviewed and was asked if the young stars in the league like Devin Booker, who just went off for 47 points, motivated Lebron to stay on top.
Lebron’s response was no, the first person who motivates Lebron was himself. Then it’s his kids, his family and the love of the game that motivated him. No other person in the league motivated him to be at the top of his game. He motivates himself.
It’s no surprise that Lebron is one of the best players in the league and in the history of the NBA with that mentality. Lebron is playing the infinite game. Constant and never-ending improvement.
Lebron currently has 4 rings in 18 seasons in the NBA. This year won’t be the year he gets his fifth, however I have a funny feeling that Lebron is not done winning championships just yet…
