The Next Step in Finding Greatness

Two weeks ago, we gave you our company's daily affirmation: Don't be a Mitch! Daily affirmations are important, but it's only the first step. If the ultimate goal is to unleash your potential and find greatness, how would you do that?

Daily affirmations are designed as inner motivation, but non-negotiables are the next step to building a habit.

Non-negotiables are exactly what they say. Things that MUST be done every day, regardless of what your day throws at you. Yes, there are life essentials - eating, sleeping, and drinking water that can be characterized as non-negotiables. But what else is there?

That depends on you. It depends on what you prioritize and value in your daily life.

For some, health is a top priority - which means going to the gym or working out every day. For some, religion is a top priority - which means praying every day and night. 

Each day presents a new challenge. Some, like weather or traffic, we can anticipate. Others, like your boss calling you in or an unexpected deadline, we cannot. But by scheduling your non-negotiables in advance, you can work around these unanticipated events with greater ease.

It takes 21 days to build a habit. Forcing your non-negotiables into your life for 21 days straight will further cement them as non-negotiables. It's only a part of the journey.

But the question is: Are you ready to fully commit to finding greatness?
